Roasted and ground New Orleans Style French Chicory
There is no caffeine in chicory, and it produces more of
a 'roasted' flavor than coffee does. Chicory is more soluble in water than coffee,
so you use less of it when brewing. Chicory can be added to coffee or used
as a caffeine free coffee replacement.
Chicory comes ready to use and looks like coarsely
ground coffee, simply exchange two scoops of coffee for one scoop of
chicory and brew as you normally would.
Recommended use: 2/3 roasted coffee 1/3 chicory, or to
taste.
